HORSE RIDING AT HACIENDA TOTORILLAS

Not far from Cuenca, we find our charming farm in an amazing natural spot surrounded by beautifully shaped mountains. The program is aimed at passengers that would like to witness and experience daily countryside life. Some of the offered activities are: involvement in farming duties (agricultural, animal raising or local food products processes), rural walks, horse riding, biking or simply relaxation and enjoyment in a pleasant environment full of Andean countryside character.

Horse riding is definitely the specialty and little experience is required. Once on the horses, we will ride along countryside trails through indigenous and private farming sites, areas of primary forest, the ancient Inca trail and small hidden villages observing the local handicrafts made. The old trails from the colonial era mostly follow the top of the mountain ridges, providing amazing views from the saddle. Horses are professionally trained for any level of experience. A tasty box lunch or a great typical lunch at the farm with a family touch is included.
